Hello Hawk Families,
We ask that you utilize the weekly newsletter to stay informed of upcoming happenings at St. Georges Tech.
Remember that we do not provide 6pm bus transportation the day before a holiday, so on Friday, December 19th any athletes staying for practice must provide their own ride home.
Looking ahead to holiday party season in December: This is a friendly reminder regarding the guidelines concerning the food that students may bring in. Please note that no homemade food—including dips, cookies, cakes, etc.—is allowed to be brought in for class parties. This policy is in place to ensure the safety of our students and staff. Food and beverages for classroom holiday parties are to be brought in before the school day begins and dropped off in the classrooms before the start of the first period. All drinks and food should arrive to class in the original package/bottle with the seal not broken. Also, food should be peanut-free.
As we approach the upcoming Winter Break from December 20th through January 4, 2026, the New Castle County Vocational Technical School District will be activating the ‘Vacation Scheduler’ for the SAFEDE/HELPme application platform that was relaunched for anonymous reporting for the 2025 – 2026 school year. During a scheduled vacation, users will be unable to submit an inquiry or use the HELPme Messenger. NCCVT will be unavailable, through the application platform, to receive and respond to inquiries during the summer break; however, resources continue to be available in the community. If you or someone you know is experiencing an emergency, please dial 911. Thank you and be well!

You can either search for St. Georges Tech or use school code #13631. Seniors do not have to purchase yearbooks, they are already included in senior dues. Senior families can create and submit senior ads for the yearbook now. The ad portal is open until February 1st or until the space fills up for senior families to design their senior ads online. Senior families are encouraged to review the senior webpage for all senior related information.
Thanks, as always for your support, and have a great weekend!
