All seniors will go up on stage and have their name called and get their career certificate (exemplary career students will get a medal too). All seniors who are participating in the senior rec ceremony must be at school on Tuesday, May 5th in the lecture hall for a senior class meeting at 9:45am. Save the date now and plan to take off work to be here!

FAQ about Senior Recognition:
What is senior recognition? It is a ceremony to honor our seniors in a more personalized way than the formal graduation ceremony.
How will I know if my senior is getting an award or not?
You won’t. Mostly all of the awards spanning academics, athletics, service, and career are surprises. All seniors will go up on stage and have their name called to receive their career certificate.
What info do I need to know?
*Seniors that don’t have classes must arrive to school by 9:45am for a senior class meeting, and expect to be at school until 2:15pm. Seniors will also get their yearbooks this day, and can pick up prom tickets this day if they don’t have classes.
*Seniors should dress nice for the ceremony (dress pants, skirt, dress, nice tip or collared shirt, and nice shoes).
*Gym doors open for guests at noon. No tickets are required for this event. Ceremony will begin at 12:30pm and is expected to last until 2:10pm.
*What if my student doesn’t wish to attend this event? They can get their certificate/awards/medals later that week or at graduation practice on Thursday, May 21st at 1pm.
