Hello Hawk Families,
Spring Break is finally here! St. Georges Tech will be on Spring Break from April 18th-April 27th.
Here are a few things to keep in mind over the break:
*New Castle County Vocational Technical School District will be activating the ‘Vacation Scheduler’ for the SafeDE/HELPme application platform that has been launched for anonymous reporting for the 2024 – 2025 school year. During a scheduled vacation, users will be unable to submit an inquiry or use the HELPme Messenger. NCCVT will be unavailable, through the application platform, to receive and respond to inquiries during the spring break; however, resources continue to be available in the community. If you or someone you know is experiencing an emergency, please dial 911. Thank you and be well!
*Please remind your student to complete their Pathways to Wellness Course in Schoology. This was assigned to them to complete during the asynchronous days throughout the year. We do not have anymore asynchronous days built into the school year so students that have not completed the course by now must carve out time on their own to complete it. If students do not receive a 60% or higher on the course, it will be reflected on their report card with a failing grade for the ¼ credit class.
*Freshmen will be receiving a letter home towards the end of spring break with information about their career placement for next year. Be on the lookout!
*Junior student contracts for Dual Enrollment and Summer Original Credit are due April 30th. Please review the junior class presentation and complete the contract, if you are interested in those opportunities. Junior link to make senior portrait appointments is live now.
