This school-based Wellness Center has been established specifically to make quality health care available to teens. Our St. Georges Tech school-based wellness center is operated by a partnership that includes Christiana Care, NCCVT School District, and the DE Division of Public Health.

Our staff consists of:
Nurse Practitioner- Angela Pollock
Medical Assistant- Trudy Reed
Licensed Clinical Social Worker- Kaylan Moore
Registered Dietician-Julianna Yi
Community Health Worker- Zikkiyya Spencer

The Wellness Center’s staff works closely with your health care provider, with parents and school nurses to create a health care resource in the school building for your teen. If you do not have a health care provider, the Wellness Center can help you locate one.
Our facility and services are available to all 9th – 12th graders who attend St. Georges Technical High School.

Our goals are to:
· Promote on-going comprehensive health care to students.
· Detect signs of emotional stress and psychological problems experienced by our students and provide or refer for mental health services.
· Improve students’ knowledge of preventive health care and assist them in developing healthy behaviors.
