It's Homecoming Time

We have an exciting week with Homecoming coming up next week!

*Please note that on Thursday, October 8th we are operating on a shortened bell schedule and will have choice activities for students to participate in from 1:55pm until dismissal. Students can choose to attend the pep rally in the gym, watch a movie in the lecture hall, play board games in the library, or sit in a silent study hall in the Hawk Cafe. If your student does not wish to participate in any of these activities and has permission to leave the building, please complete the early dismissal form that was emailed home to families on 9/30 by Friday, October 2nd so that our attendance office is able to correctly document attendance. Please do not wait until pep rally day to call the office for an early dismissal.

*Please note that next Friday, October 9th is an asynchronous day and students will not report to the building. The state mandates that each student complete a Pathways to Wellness Course and we utilize our asynchronous days to allow our students to complete this. This is a pass/fail course that will show up on their transcript as a ΒΌ credit course. Please help to ensure they are staying on track and completing the modules. They are able to retake them in order to achieve a passing grade.

*Saturday, October 10th is our Homecoming Dance from 6-9pm and a ticket is required for entry. Please review the dress code to ensure your student is properly dressed for the event. Please note that the name on the ticket must match the name of the student attending the dance. Any ticket exchanges by students must be approved by the Student Activities Office. Rides should be waiting in the parking lot at 9pm promptly to pick up your student. Please note that there are no refunds for tickets.

*Monday, October 12th there is no school for students, it is professional development for staff.

We do our best to put all important information in one place each week so that our students and families can be prepared and know what is coming up. Please take a moment to review the weekly newsletter to stay informed.
