Hawk Weekly Newsletter

Hello Hawk Families,

*Please take a moment to review the weekly newsletter to stay informed on what is coming up.

*Please note that on Tuesday, June 2nd, St. Georges will be conducting our state-required safety drills. These will include a fire drill and evacuation drill.

Please know that these drills are an important part of keeping our students and staff safe and prepared in the event of an emergency.

If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out to the school office.

*Remember that next week is our end of year exams on June 8th and June 9th. They are both half days and no lunch will be served these days. June 10th is reserved only for students who have appointments with teachers to take a make-up exam. Buses will run in the morning to pick students up that need to complete an exam and they will depart SG at 10:30am.

*As we approach the upcoming summer break from June 12th through August 23, 2026, the New Castle County Vocational Technical School District will be activating the  ‘Vacation Scheduler’ for the SafeDE/HELPme application platform that has been relaunched for anonymous reporting for the 2025 – 2026 school year. During a scheduled vacation, users will be unable to submit an inquiry or use the HELPme Messenger.  NCCVT will be unavailable, through the application platform, to receive and respond to inquiries during the spring break; however, resources continue to be available in the community.  If you or someone you know is experiencing an emergency, please dial 911. Thank you and be well!
