Please take a moment to review the weekly newsletter here to stay up to date with upcoming events.
Please note the following schedule updates:
*Tuesday, March 3rd will be an asynchronous day for 9th, 10th, and 12th graders. During the asynchronous day it is expected that students are completing their “Pathway to Wellness” course.
9th grade - modules 7-10
10th grade- modules 7-9
12th grade modules 7-8
Students must successfully meet the requirements of 70% in order to pass each Drug and Alcohol module. This is a Pass/Fail course and failure to meet these requirements will result in an F for the “Pathway to Wellness” course.
Junior Families: The juniors will take the SAT on March 3rd. SAT day your student will need to bring their charged chromebook to school with headphones/earbuds. The SAT test will last until around 11:30am (special education students with extended time will test longer). Juniors will spend the afternoon in their career areas after the test, and we will have regular 3pm bus transportation home at the end of the day.
Please complete the form that was emailed home on 2/20 and 2/27 to let us know what your student’s plans are for after the SAT if they have an approved early dismissal so we can plan accordingly for attendance and lunch.
Thanks for your support in encouraging your student to do their best on the upcoming SAT test.
*Friday, March 6th is an asynchronous day for all grades. Students should be completing their Pathways to Wellness Course. Teachers will hold optional parent/teacher conferences in the afternoon from 11:30am-3pm.
*Monday, March 9th there is no school for students, it is professional development for staff.
*Wednesday, March 18th is the PSAT for 10th graders. This will be an asynchronous day for 9th, 11th, and 12th grade students. Please note this is a change from the previously communicated March 17th date. Testing should conclude for sophomores around 11am. After PSAT testing, Sophomores will eat lunch and spend the afternoon in their career classes. We will have normal 3pm bus transportation this day. If your Sophomore student has permission to leave after they are finished taking the PSAT, please complete the early dismissal form that was emailed home on 2/27 to help us plan for lunches this day.
*Please note the final day to order an SG yearbook is Saturday, March 1st. 9th-11th graders can purchase yearbooks online for $75 HERE. You can either search for St. Georges Tech or use school code #13631. Reminder that seniors do not need to purchase yearbooks, they are included in senior dues.
Thanks, as always, for your support and have a great weekend.
