Congrats to our Culinary Arts BBQ Team!

Our Culinary Arts Program competed in the 1st annual Mountaire Farms sponsored high school BBQ competition that was held at Poly Tech High School on Friday 5-17-24. Teams competed in 4 categories – Chicken fabrication, BBQ sauce, Thighs, and Wings. An overall competition award was given to the top two scoring high schools.

St. Georges Tech Culinary Arts Team placed second in chicken fabrication, bbq sauce and thighs, and earned first place in wings. Our team consisted of Marvelous Comer, Ryan Coleman, Ian Reid, Abbigale Joswick and Michael Kelly. Congrats to our Hawks for placing second overall and missing first by .75 of a point.
