St. Georges Tech appreciates the partnership and support that EDiS offers to students in Delaware. EDiS hosted an essay competition during the month of February to honor and highlight diversity in the construction industry for Black History Month. This year our Hawks won 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place!
Thank you to EDiS for sponsoring this essay competition, allowing our Hawks to express themselves through creative writing, and focusing on the promising potential of a diverse workforce in construction.
The 1st place prize was $750, 2nd place won $500, and 3rd place won $250. In addition to prizes for the students, EDiS also awarded their sponsor teachers each $100 to use towards school supplies for their classroom.
