To kick off Childhood Cancer Awareness Month our Hawks glowed gold on Wednesday, September 14th to shine with support and awareness.

We have a host of support from our Hawk Athletic Programs who are hosting B+ events during their home games. Students are encouraged to either wear gold or a B+ shirt to the games when they come to cheer on our Hawks.

There will be B+ shirts for sale during the events: $15 for tshirts and $20 for long sleeve tshirts. For every shirt purchased, $5 will be donated to the B+ Foundation.

Shirts will be in a variety of colors and sizes. Check out the design:

PJammin for Childhood Cancer Awareness is a day where our Hawks can donate $1 to the B+ Foundation and they will get a gold wristband to signify that they are uniting in the fight against childhood cancer and can wear school appropriate pjs to school that day. Why pajamas you ask? This is to signify the countless hours that children spend in hospitals underdoing cancer treatment.

Thanks to all of our Hawks who participated in PJammin for Childhood Cancer Day!

Thanks to your generosity, we raised $600 for the B+ Foundation.

The St. Georges Tech Community lost one of our very own B+ Heroes, Quincy Harmon, Biotechnology Class of 2018. We purchased a memorial tree to be planted in his honor. Quincy was a kind and selfless individual who used his wish for the Make A Wish Foundation to give back to the AI Hospital and purchase more comfortable chairs for children to sit in while undergoing their cancer treatments.
