Delaware State University Partners with St. Georges Tech Biotechnology

Exciting news for our St. Georges Tech Biotechnology Career Area. We have established a partnership between St Georges Biotech and Delaware State University. This partnership is with the Food Science Program at DSU headed by Dr Jung-lim Lee. DSU has provided biotech with new lab equipment (microscopes, autoclave, PAGE gels, spectrophotometers, PCR machines, and centrifuges). In return, Biotech has added a food safety curriculum to our agriculture chapter. In appreciation of the partnership, a plaque has been placed between our biotech classrooms to announce that we are a food satellite lab for DSU food safety’s program. Thank you to representatives from NCCVT district administration, St Georges Tech administration, DSU administration, and our junior biotech students for attending the plaque presentation event.
