HOSA is a national student organization that provides a unique opportunity for students that are studying health related careers to participate in leadership, technical, and skill related competitions. Participating in HOSA is going above and beyond the normal scope of curriculum in our healthcare career programs. Students who take on participating and preparing for HOSA competitions are motivated to gain extra experience in the healthcare field.
We want to congratulate all of our Hawks who chose to participate in HOSA this year. It is a difficult and challenging year for many as students are dealing with balancing both in person and remote learning while trying to maintain their health during the Covid-19 pandemic. We had 19 health career students volunteer to participate in the HOSA competitions this year.
Congratulations to 10 of our students who placed in the top 3 for the North Regional HOSA competitions and advanced to participate in the state of Delaware competitions.
