Hybrid 2.0 Begins March 1st

Hawk Families,

We are transitioning from our current hybrid model 1.0 to our new model Hybrid 2.0 on Monday, March 1st. This will bring more students into the building and allow them to actually transition among classes and be in person with their academic instructors and not only their career instructors.

Please view this very important Newsletter from the St. Georges Tech Administration that provides useful information about Hybrid 2.0:

Make sure to click through the Playbook so you know what to expect!

Please note that new bus schedules are available to view in HAC now. Please also note that our new bell schedule start time will be 8:03am. We had to adjust this to accomodate for our 4 lunch periods instead of our traditional 3 in order to spread out our students and allow safe room in the cafeteria with spacing.

Switching from Remote to In-Person

We want to reiterate that if your child originally chose to remain in a remote learning environment, but as a family you decide that your child would like to start attending in-person, you must inform the school by March 10, 2021 in order for them to begin attending the week of March 22, 2021. Please call St. Georges THS main office at 302-449-3600.

We will have an additional day in mid-April to admit more students to attend in-person if they so choose.

Switching from In-Person to Remote

If your child decides that they no longer want to attend in-person, we ask that they notify his or her counselor immediately. This may create space for another child in the classroom or the bus. Additionally, daily attendance is taken based on whether or not the student is present and at school or present and at home. This helps us track each student’s attendance in our different learning environments.
